Here's my interview :
A Writer’s Dark Corner
When did you start blogging?
I started blogging on 1 Sep. 2013. Since most of my time I spend reading book blogs, I decided it wouldn’t hurt to try it.

What is your favorite part of book blogging?
Everything! I love everything about blogging, staying up until late to finish a book before the deadline, practically running down the streets to get home from school, in order to post a review on time, staying for hours glued to the computer screen to understand how this blog works, but still having much more knowledge about HTML code, than our teacher. I love reading comments from other bloggers, finding out about other books, and fangirling together.

What type of books do you mainly blog about?
I am Dracula’s number 1 fan. I read mostly horror books.

What is your favorite book(s)?
My favorite book is “Dracula”. Maybe it’s just me, but I love reading books more than just once. When I’m bored, I open “Dracula” in a random page, and start reading.

What has been the best thing that has happened to you
because of book blogging?
I live in a country, where horror literature isn’t that known. Imagine that my librarian doesn’t even know who Stephen King is. I got told many times that my reading preference is weird. I aspire to be a horror writer, that’s why I feel insecure when I talk to people about this. I am only 17 years old, and as every teenager, I am affected by the society.
But this blogging community doesn’t judge you. Here I found that having weird reading preferences is cool, and in fact we are all a bunch of weirdoes. Finding people, whom I share the same passions, is such a blessing for me.

Hi! :) Thank you!
DeleteI "had" to read Dracula for university and although I prefer 'Frankenstein', I did enjoy it more than I expected! And I totally agree on the bookblogging community not being as judge-y as most other parts of society are. I really enjoy reading classics but I never feel excluded for not having read the latest YA novel for example! Definitely stick with your ambition to become a horror writer. It's when people are scared that they reveal most about themselves! I'm a new GFC follower! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great weekend!
