Hi! Welcome to “A Writer’s Dark Corner High School”. Here we read horror, Horror, and only HORROR!!! (muhahahahahahaahahaha!)
Just kidding! (Am I kidding though?)
This is the list of books I would give to my students

Stephen King Salem’s Lot
Stephen King On Writing
Ismail Kadare Broken April
Stefan Zweig Confusion
Lord Byron Childe Harold Pilgrimage
Mary Shelley Frankenstein
Charlotte Bronte Jane Eyre
Bram Stoker Dracula!!!

Have a great day!
Happy Scary Reading!

  1. I studied Frankenstein last year and I really enjoyed it; our teacher let us make our own monsters (not literally though). And yes to Dracula!! One of my all-time favourite books :)

  2. I loved Frankenstein and Dracula. However, an entire class on Horror? I would have to run the other direction. I do not like to be scared!!
